The 8th Vietnam Intˇ¦l Plastic & Rubber Industry Exhibition, incorporating Vietnam Pack&Print industry exhibition, Print& Label industry exhibition, and Food Processing & Pharmaceutical industry exhibition will open its door on November 13 ˇV 16, 2008. at SECC ˇV Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center, the highly anticipated exhibition venue for Ho Chi Minh City. According to statistics provided from VSPA, (Vietnam Saigon Plastic Association), Plastics & Rubber Industry of Vietnam has been developing remarkably since the passed years; Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased 7 times, validity of Gross Domestic Product increased 8 times form 438 millions USD in 1997 up to 3533 millions USD in 2007. Unquestionably, plastic will remain a driven force in Vietnamˇ¦s dynamic manufacturing sector which enforce on the countryˇ¦ economic growth.
Dr. Tran Cong Hoang Quoc Trang, President of ˇ§Vietnam Saigon Plastic Associationˇ¨ (VSPA), said, ˇ§Plastic Industry needs to import machineries and accessories approximately 10 billions USD, with the basic raw materials and plastic bags attract double investment capital every year.
