The 7th Vietnam International Plastic & Rubber Industry Fair came to a wonderful ending on Sep. 23rd, over 23000 visitors attended the show in Phu My Hung International Exhibition Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
It has become the largest event over the years, the organizers were comprised from Germany, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and Vietnam, whereas 219 exhibitors came from China, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam, taking up a total of 405 booths. Besides local exhibitors, a selection of machinery equipments were displayed in the country pavilions established from China, H. K., Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan.
Numerous machinery were on display such as: extruders, blowing moulds, injection moulds, bag-making, circular looms, plastic cutting, plastic drying and mold heaters, packaging, quality control systems, silk screen printing, coating, food processing, beverage bottling, refrigeration and food additives etc.
Over the years, Vietnam became one of the fastest growing developed countries in the world, the 2006 direct foreign investment (FDI) increased by 49.1% compared to 2005, making great potential in the growing market. Vietnam government announced new development policy, aiming to improve its industrial sectors, that will be favorable to attract foreign investment. The show received high remark from trade associations than ever, the exhibits are very useful to boost the industrial development in Vietnam.
Most of the current exhibitors expressed the interest to join again in 2008, next edition will be held from Nov. 13-16, 2008 in the neighboring Saigon Exhibition & Conference Center.
